*Book Tour & Giveaway* Healing Hearts by Aria Bliss

Healing Hearts
Hearts of Watercress Falls Book 1
by Aria Bliss
Genre: Steamy Contemporary Romance

Two broken hearts.
A pain so strong it’s embedded in their bones.
And an unspoken attraction they can’t ignore.

♥♥♥

Two years ago, a tragic accident left Camille heartbroken, alone, and stuck with the one label she never wanted in life—Widow.
In need of a major life change, she leaves her Savannah, Georgia home for the Rocky Mountains in northern Montana. She needs more than a distraction to take her mind off all she’s lost. She needs a new life, a new home, and a new beginning.
A mountain chalet, with amazing views of the Rockies, is exactly what she needs to refocus her life and her writing career. Just like her life, the chalet needs a major renovation, but that’s fine by her. The hard work will do her good.
She carefully planned out every detail of her move—the location, the design for the renovation, incorporating her writing career into her new home, and connecting with the local community. But the one thing she didn’t plan for was Adam.

♥♥♥

When Adam decided to leave his promising Chicago career behind and move home to be closer to his family, he never expected to end up divorced  in the process. His ex-wife said she supported his decision and wanted the same life he dreamed of having—a simple, small town life with lots of kids.
But she lied.
Fifteen years later, and he still struggles to find success as an architect in the small mountain town he calls home. It’s been even harder to find a life partner to share that life with. But it’s a life he loves despite living it alone.
His career starts to look up when an old client from Chicago invites him to bid on a mountain resort concept at the same time someone hires him to renovate a historic chalet. With these two projects on his portfolio, his career success would be secured.
But when chemistry sparks between him and the beautiful, smart woman who bought the chalet, a lot more than his career starts to improve.

♥♥♥

In this heartfelt, second chance romance, Camille falls hard for Adam, the man she hired to renovate her new home. Can she allow her broken heart to heal and accept the love he willingly offers? Or will she close herself off and doom herself to a lifetime of loneliness and pain?

They decide to flee the country with their families through Guatemala and Mexico to seek asylum in the United States.

But their journey is more challenging than expected, and they face a myriad of difficulties and must overcome multiple obstacles that put not only their dreams but also their lives at risk.

Read an Excerpt

Thomas was in a bad mood and amid closing his restaurant on what had been a busy Saturday night when Juan and José showed up accompanied by two muscular young men in black jackets.

It was nearly three o’clock in the morning. Cecilia had left hours ago, accompanied by Carlos, the busboy, and Thomas was tired. He had to persuade three male customers celebrating a birthday to take their party elsewhere because he needed to catch some sleep so he could take his wife to church the following day. It hadn’t been easy; the friends had been enjoying the evening and were at that point in their drunkenness when they laughed at the silliest of jokes. When they ordered a third bottle of rum, Thomas presented them with their bill and politely marched them out of the restaurant and onto the street. He could hear them outside now telling lies to each other about all the women they had known and singing romantic songs off-key.

And now what?

“Buenas noches, amigo,” Juan said. “We stopped by for a drink.”

“You guys never sleep?”

Thomas’s comment prompted loud laughter from Juan and José, but not from the other two gorillas, who remained fish-eyed and impassive.

“I want you to meet Moro and Campi.” Juan pointed to the two black-jacketed men without looking at them. “They just joined the organization, and I wanted to introduce them to you.”

“Organization?”

“Yes, we’re growing. Business is good.”

“I bet.”

Juan gazed at the men and nodded toward Thomas. “Say hello.”

The men grunted something unintelligible, which could have been a greeting or a curse. Thomas wasn’t sure.

“Hola,” Thomas said to the men, who stared at him with the same effusiveness of a blank wall. He turned to Juan, who was smiling at him. “What happened to the other Black Jacket? The one who came with you the first time?”

“King Kong? We used to call him that because he was so big and had a face like a gorilla.” Juan stuck his tongue out and ran his hand from one side of his neck to the other, causing everyone at the table to break out in loud laughter as if he had told a great joke. “He was processed by the Mara 18. He was seeing a woman on their turf. The 18s caught him one night and beat him to a pulp with steel rods—you know cabillas used in construction? They broke every bone in his body. Even his mother couldn’t make a positive identification to the police.”

“That’s terrible.”

“It was his fault.” Juan shrugged. “We told him. There are plenty of pretty women in our territory. You got one. That guy with the big muscles in the shop across the street got another one. Isn’t that right, José?”

José gave a big grin. “Si, Jefe.”

Thomas wasn’t happy with the way the conversation was going. The mention of Ceci made his stomach muscles tighten. He felt his face getting hot and his heart beating faster. He tried hard to keep his composure.

“Well, aren’t you going to invite us to have something to drink, amigo?” Juan asked.

“I was about to go home.”

“Ah, amigo. Stay a while. Share a moment with your friends and business associates.”

Friends and business associates, my ass. Gangsters and murderers.

Thomas swallowed the bitter taste in his mouth and tried to keep his voice steady. This was not the time to start a confrontation. He had to wait for the right moment.

*Book Tour & Giveaway* Bluebonnets in the Spring by Kristen Collins

Bluebonnets in the Spring
Perfectly Stated Series
by Kristen Collins
Genre: Western Paranormal Fantasy Romance

Clyde is just a lonely widow cowboy living out his days in peace on his ranch in Texas. Faith is a hybrid reaper on the run from a band of fallen angels.

When Faith stumbles onto his land one night injured, she unwittingly pulls Clyde into a manhunt that could change his life forever.

Two secrets and one fateful night could change everything for them. Was it destiny that brought them together or will the secrets they harbor be their demise?

I'm a Native Texan, born and raised close to the heart of the great Lone Star State. I was born in January of ‘89 and was able to grow up during a great time. I honestly don’t consider myself a Millennial, and really dislike that title. I'm a part-time secretary and a full-time mother and wife, as well as a Lupus Warrior.
Having Lupus means living my life indoors, and the sun is my arch-nemesis, my personal kryptonite. I want to leave a legacy behind, something my kids could one day look back on and say, “yeah my mom did that.”
Thanks to the encouragement of friends and family, I found a passion for writing paranormal romance books. Anything in the realm of fantasy usually suits my novels and tends to be able to reach a large audience in multiple genres. Most of my story ideas come to me in the most unexpected times and places, such as my dreams. They will plague me nonstop until I sit down and write it out.
I like to explore new types of characters such as Sandmen and Boogeymen, for example. I enjoy creating all the facets of their own worlds, such as in A Sandman’s Forbidden Love.
God has blessed me with success that I never imagined was possible, which allows me the freedom to explore and create with intense focus in paranormal fiction. Now, I know Shifters aren’t real but Angels are another story. So Angels are also a part of my focus and research. I will often sit on the computer doing extensive research on both Sandmen and Angels, trying to learn as much as possible about them.
In addition to fiction, I create Art Journals that are cross generational from thirteen to ninety years young. My goal, with these types of books, is to reach people who need that extra encouragement and quiet reflective stillness that journaling can bring into their lives.

She also loves to write carefree romance where one can finish reading with a smile.

GUEST POST

Can you, for those who don't know you already, tell something about yourself and how you became an author?

Hello, pleased to meet you. My name is Angelina Kerner and I’m an author of sweet romance in two genres - chick-lit and paranormal.

The dream to become an author came to me after reading books by James Clemens. The world he created was so vivid inside my mind that it was like watching a movie. I wanted to be able to do that, to make books act as movies inside the minds of readers. I started writing then and didn’t stop.

What is something unique/quirky about you?

My PA would say I’m super picky when it comes to looking for male models for my covers. I redid the cover for A SHADE OF LOVE, a WIP recently because I didn’t like the male model on it and kind of drove her crazy. ;)

Tell us something really interesting that's happened to you!

I got to meet Andy Weir, the author of THE MARTIAN a couple of years back. A really nice guy.

What are some of your pet peeves?

I can’t stand the sound of chewing gum or gum in any form. When people think they are higher than others- hearing I’m busy, can you do it?

Where were you born/grew up at?

I grew up in a town where I could play with other kids outside with my mother watching from her window from the fourth story. We climbed towers, paid for ice cream with coins, had hula hoop and jump rope competitions and really loved creating lizards out of beads.

If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?

With my family, visiting a children’s museum, the beach, the aquarium, and creating memories for them so they wouldn’t forget me.

Who is your hero and why?

My grandfather who passed away before I was born. I heard he was a good man and the stories I’ve been told made me wish I would have had a chance to meet him.

What kind of world ruler would you be?

Probably an optimistic one lol

What are you passionate about these days?

Honestly, not a clue. I did do research on Japanese culture for my WIP so maybe that lol

What do you do to unwind and relax?

Either I read or watch a show. I’m simple. Sometimes, I meditate.

How to find time to write as a parent?

Write when the kid is asleep so in the mornings. Take notes on the phone when the kid's eating or playing. Kids don’t really let you be on laptops or computers. They climb on desks or close the laptops.

Describe yourself in 5 words or less!

Survivor. Parent. Geographer. Author. Pisces.

When did you first consider yourself a writer?

When I had enough guts to share my writing with others. It’s extremely hard to do. It’s one thing to write in the dark and another to share it and hear feedback from a beta reader or reviewer.

Do you have a favorite movie?

The Martian.

Which of your novels can you imagine made into a movie?

The Scented Bones or Into the Flames. Both are paranormal fiction books with awesome characters like a witch forensic anthropologist and a reincarnated queen out for revenge.

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

My logo has a fairy and a wolf on it. So my spirit would be a wolf and probably dragons since you’ll find them in my fiction writings.

Thank you for hanging out with me.
