I now live just south of Calgary in Medicine Hat, Alberta Lost the orchards and fruit but we have spectacular veggies here. I continue to write romantic suspense and medical thrillers in my new home. My background in nursing helps with the medical thrillers. I've written most of my life. I used to do those locked room plots many years ago. Now I spend my time plotting perfect murders and then helping my antagonist solve them. I strongly believe that good triumphs over evil and love conquers all. What are some of your pet peeves?

People who don’t leash their pets unless it’s an off-leash park. The “too stupid to live heroine” in a murder mystery.

What do you do to unwind and relax?

I do yoga, meditate, and read.

What are you passionate about these days?

To be honest, with Covid, self-isolation, shut-downs, social distancing, masks, and no hugging I’ve lost my passion for almost everything. Hopefully, it will come back soon.

If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?

With friends and loved ones, great food, good wine, good music, and my dog,

What kind of world ruler would you be?

Benevolent, fair, educated and I’d surround myself with intelligent, unbiased experts in all fields.

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

I’d chose a dog, like Marie L., my dog from Death Southern Style
