powerless kid, Darryl has influence within the community—maybe more than the deacon. Darryl intends on
using his power to destroy Deacon Matawapit and his church.
Hoping to save the church, Emery races home. But stopping Darryl is harder than expected when their
sizzling chemistry threatens to consume Emery. Now he is faced with the toughest decision of his life: please

for him.
This is very erotic book about a spiritual journey.

An Ojibway from Northwestern Ontario, Maggie resides in the country with her husband and their fur babies,
two beautiful Alaskan Malamutes. When she’s not writing, she can be found pulling weeds in the flower beds,
mowing the huge lawn, walking the Mals deep in the bush, teeing up a ball at the golf course, fishing in the
boat for walleye, or sitting on the deck at her sister’s house, making more wonderful memories with the
people she loves most.
GUEST POST
Will there be more books about the Matawapit Family?
Honestly, I don’t
know. Renewed wraps up the series arc. When I first started
writing Blessed, book one, I didn’t have any intention of
writing a series. But Bridget and Jude wanted their stories told. I
also loved the characters enough to create novels for them. I
especially wanted to dig deeper into the very traditional and
cultural Kabatay family who are the main antagonists (I loathe
calling them that LOL because they are who they are) throughout the
series.
If I did carry on,
I’d probably do short holiday stories, such as a Matawapit Family
Christmas, a Matawapit Family Easter, etc. Then there’s Emery, who
is told by two respected elders he will one day lead them
spiritually, and I already know how he’ll accomplish this, but the
readers don’t know. So if I did write another novel, for sure it’d
be Emery and Darryl from Blessed.
Then there are the
Kabatays, a family I really adore because of the amount of problems
they have, their beliefs, etc. They are very much like real,
everyday families since they are far from perfect. Again, if I did
continue on, it’d be under a new series name: The Kabatay Family.
I will admit I was
quite sad when I finished the last book Renewed in September
and sent the manuscript off to my publisher. Part of me wanted to
keep writing about Ottertail Lake, but another trilogy begged to be
told, so that’s what I’m doing right now. I just finished the
first draft of book one for this new series, and I’m now working on
the second book.
We’ll see. As I
said, if it does happen, it’ll happen through Emery or through the
Kabatays.
